Fondation
Louis Vuitton

The Louis Vuitton Foundation is a museum dedicated to modern and contemporary art located in the Bois de Boulogne, in the 16th arrondissement. It opened its doors in 2014.

This place is worth a visit, if only to discover the building itself. Designed by the famous architect Frank Gehry, it consists of huge glass sails and is surrounded by a pool. Some will find it looks like a ship, or a cloud. As you enter this immense building, you will have the opportunity to admire the waterfall, to lose yourself in the glow of the Grotto, or to contemplate the extraordinary view of Paris from the terraces.

In the various galleries of the Foundation, you can discover the exhibition(s) of the moment, around modern or contemporary art. Every first Friday of the month there is also a Nocturne during which the Foundation closes around 11pm. During the Nocturnes there are usually concerts and workshops around the exhibition.
