The Monceau park

The Monceau park is a park from the 18th century and located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.

There are two notable features in the park: the rotunda and the oval-shaped pool, bordered by a magnificent colonnade. The park is also dotted with marble statues of writers and musicians such as Maupassant, or Chopin. The park is also surrounded by luxurious mansions.

The park has been a source of inspiration for many artists, such as Monet, Braque or Caillebotte.

Between two visits, go through the Parc Monceau to take a break from the intensity of Paris. Enjoy the romantic atmosphere of the park and observe the Parisians of the district come to breathe.
