Palais de Tokyo
The Palais de Tokyo is a museum dedicated to modern and contemporary art located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. It was inaugurated on the occasion of the International Exhibition of 1937. It is one of the largest exhibition areas devoted to contemporary art on the international scene.
The Palais de Tokyo is a vibrant place: you will not see a permanent collection but a constantly renewed offer of varied temporary exhibitions. The program regularly addresses very current topics: ecology, feminism, non-Western creation... The museum periodically gives "carte blanche" to an artist, and invites him or her to occupy the entire space.
The cultural mediation offer is particularly interesting at the Palais de Tokyo. Free visits with guides are regularly organized, and visitors can also sign up for workshops related to the exhibition.
